We have a great tax resource page for you. Here you can find
links to the IRS site, print tax forms on your computer, get helpful tips and hints, use
tax estimators, learn how to maximize your deductions, stay up on new tax law changes,
directories of tax and accounting sites, etc. Lots of information
here.
MoneyCentral Taxes - Get help finding deductions, get tax tips such as: "How to avoid an audit", "Top 7 taxpayer mistakes", "Top 10 overlooked deductions" etc. You can also ask their tax expert, find a tax professional, use their tax estimator and find many other useful resources. TaxACT 99 - Another free tax preparation software package. It includes tax forms, schedules, and worksheets. It calculates your return for you, then reviews your return and alerts you to possible errors or audit flags. Print and file your return on paper, or e-file. The interface is friendly and logical, with onscreen help plus Web links to plenty of income tax information from the IRS, the program developers, and other sites. This free version is adequate for most filers; if your taxes are a bit more complicated you can unlock the deluxe version, which you will have to pay for. Money 101: Taxes - This is Money Magazine's guide to taxes. Learn about paying taxes, filing a return, audits, tax planning and get a glossary of terms. Taxes - Quicken has a great guide to taxes with a tax estimator, to figure out where you stand, quick and easy tips on how reduce your tax bill by the end of the year, plan ahead for next year, tax tips if you are self-employed, links to IRS publications, federal and state forms, tax law changes, business tax guide, tax rates and rules. Maximize Your Deductions - A few quick tips on how to maximize your tax deductions, includes information on what deductions you can take and some information on retirement savings. The Internal Revenue Service - Here you can download any tax forms and publications you need, FAQ's on tax issues, highlights of new tax laws, tax calendars, view the Tele-Tax Topics section, which provides links to tax tips and resources on the Web and much more. Taxmama - Tax Mama knows just how tough doing taxes can be. This site helps take some of the mystery and fear out preparing your tax returns. There are lots of articles on the site, including information about how taxes affect families. There is even a free,weekly newsletter, Ask TaxMama, to help you stay informed. Find info on federal, state, international taxes, taxforms, IRS sites, help tips, tax updates and more. TaxWorld - Here you can find a wealth of information, anything from tax sites and research to policy, language, history etc. A great place to get started if you need information. The Center for the Study of Taxation - The Center was formed in 1992 by a group of families and family-owned enterprises concerned with the impact of estate, gift and generation-skipping taxes ("Death Taxes"). It is dedicated to preserving a healthy economic and tax climate that will be beneficial to all Americans.
