Well, now that information is available to everyone online. A perfect site for anyone looking into a certain field or career change or simply for the young or old student getting started. The handbook describes what workers do on the job, working conditions, education or training needed, average salaries and more. The information comes from the US Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics.

  Engineering Jobs - The Engineering Job Source provides job listings for engineers and technical professionals. You can browse or search engineering and technical jobs from all over the United States by state. Engineers and technical professionals can enter their resume for free. Employers can search resumes for free.

Monsterboard.com - Here you can search for a job, you can even register with their personal search agent that will do the searching for you. You can research employer profiles, you can add your resume to their database, relocation services and much more. If you are looking for a job, I wouldn't pass this site up.

Careerbuilder.com - I've used these guys extensively myself. They also have a personal search agent that will do searches for you, database of open jobs, help on how to write a resume, salary information, career advancement advice etc.

Dice.com - Database of jobs to search on with keywords. Is set up as a resource for recruiters, so once you add yourself with your qualifications, expect the phone to ring.

Telecommuting Resources -Work-at-Home Resources:

Telecommuting Jobs - If you are looking for a telecommuting job you can search their database and/or add your resume to the database. If you are a potential employer you can post a job or search for talent.

Work at Home Moms - This is a newsletter and online magazine for work at home moms. They have a great discussion list, where you can share ideas and network with other parents who work from home. You will also find an advice and FAQ column where you can get answers to many of  your questions about working at home opportunities, they have links to other work-at-home and parenting websites and more.

Yahoo - Telecommuting - This is Yahoo's telecommuting page. Here you will find not just links to sites with opportunities, but also research that has been done on the subject. If you need ammo to feed your boss about telecommuting, you might want to search through these resources first.

Telecommuting -The Mining Co. - Great resources - find telecommuting organizations, facts and figures about telecommuting, a long list of search engines and directories where to search for telecommuting jobs and a whole lot of other resources to help every telecommuter out there.

Outsource2000 - These guys develope home-based work related programs, products and services. It isn't free, so do your research and figure out if this is for you or not.

Independent HomeWorkers Alliance - The IHA is a resource for home based jobs, consumer product discounts, services, information and networking. This requires membership fees as well, so be sure to research it carefully before making any decisions.
