This is like those health guides you're given by your health insurance except this is online. M-CARE is a nonprofit corporation. The information does not to replace the advice and care of your health provider. 

Embarrassing Health Problems - The purpose of this site is to help you deal with health problems that might be embarrassing to discuss with others. Now, don't let your imagination run away with you, it could be as simple as bad breath or baldness. The categories go from A-Z and start with Acne&Spots and go to ZZZ - Snoring<g>.

  Body Mass Index Calculator - Just enter your height and weight and the calculator will tell you what your BMI (Body Mass Index) is.

Waist to Hip Ratio Calculator - You'll need a measuring tape for this, but all the instructions on how and what to measure is right there. What is your risk for Breast Cancer? - I've added a tool that estimates your risk for 4 types of cancer and gives you tips on how to prevent them. This is a GREAT tool.

Poison Center Answer Book - This Answer book is done by The University of California, Davis, Medical Center Regional Poison Control Center. They answer common questions about poisonings and prevention. You can find a checklist for poison safety, a babysitter guide, emergency first aid. The center is prepared to provide emergency information about: Swallowing of poisons, eye or skin irritation from toxic substances, inhalation of noxious fumes or vapors, plant exposures, animal, insect, snake and spider bites, food or mushroom poisoning, drug reactions, attempted suicides or drug overdoses and pet poisoning exposure. National Library of Medicine - The information is designed to direct you to resources containing information that will help you research your health questions. They are designed for educational use only and are not intended to replace advice from a health professional.
